This deep Fried Mushroom is the latest trend, combined with the latest long-lasting ultra crunchy batter to coat it!

Ingredients

4 servings
  • plain flour0.8 cups
  • self-raising flour0.5 cup
  • corn flour0.5 cup
  • salt1.5 tsp
  • turmeric powder0.5 tsp
  • sugar2 tsp
  • vegetable oil1 tsp
  • water1.3 cups
  • grated coconut0.5 cup
  • oil for deep frying3 cups

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Whisk together all the ingredients above except the mushrooms, grated coconut & oil for deep frying.

  2. 2.

    Heat frying oil in a pan.

  3. 3.

    Add the grated coconut into the batter and mix well.

  4. 4.

    When the oil heats up, dip the mushrooms into the batter and deep fry it quickly for about 3 minutes.

  5. 5.

    Remove from oil and drain on a paper towel.

  6. 6.

    Serve while hot!
